Quotations

My quotes are based on anticipating how many hours I will need to complete your project. Upon the acceptance of a quote, you will be invoiced for an upfront payment of 50% before I commence the project.

If the parameters of a project change, or if a job involves more time than estimated, I will inform you and either re-quote or charge for additional time at my hourly rate of R550.

All prices quoted are valid for 30 days.

Invoices

On acceptance of our quote, you will be invoiced for an upfront payment of 50%. This will need to be paid within five working days of date of invoice. Work will commence as soon as I have received this deposit.

On completion of a project, you will be invoiced the balance, including any additional costs that may have been incurred.

Any outstanding invoices must be settled before I will accept new work from you.

Please note that I am not VAT registered.

Timing

Before I start on a project, deadlines and timing expectations must be discussed in detail. Content

All content (i.e. wording and images) must be supplied before I can commence work on a project. An effective website or layout should be designed around its content. Design brings content to life, so content must drive the design.

Meetings & Communication

If a project requires regular meetings, I reserve the right to increase my quote or charge my hourly fee for meeting time. Meetings further than 50km from Cape Town will be charged at my hourly rate.

Because meetings can be time-consuming, I’m happy to schedule phone or online calls. My office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00.

Client corrections

Generally I include two rounds of revisions per project. If additional changes are needed, I may need to charge for the extra work.

Image sourcing

I can assist with sourcing images from stock libraries, if required. This comes at an additional cost.

Printing

Print costs are not included in my design fees. While I do not handle printing directly, I can prepare print-ready files for you to take to a printer of your choice.
